Biography

While imprisoned in Boston, two Quaker women, Mary Traske and Margaret Smith, sent the following co-authored letter to John Endicott, Governor of Massachusetts.  In spite of having left Old England in order to have the right to practice Calvinism in their own fashion, the Puritans subsequently denied similar rights to other religious sects.
